If you are on the road traveling anywhere near here, consider checking in and camping here for the night. Full-on RV sites as well as car or tent camping will work, and the area lends itself to sitting outside and enjoying the views. Nice hiking trails will take you to other, less visited rock formations, too.
So much fun! Beautiful views and hiking/climbing. Great adventure for the whole family... even your four-legged ones. Enjoy camping, star parties, hide and seek in the rocks and visitor center with bathrooms.

The rocks are fun to scramble on and meander through; it really does feel like a city of rocks. The northern section is more shady, which is important given the heat here even in October.
It's like someone just picked this place up and dropped it in the middle of nowhere!! They have campsites (very well equipped for RV or tents) Restrooms are very clean around the park. Love to go back and spend more time there. Thank You Keeping it so nice New Mexico!!
